A midwestern field at sunset is depicted in this painting. When I was a child, this was a common sight. This painting seemed to just flow out of me without any forethought, it’s truly like my childhood self was holding the brush.
The brilliant pinks in the sky are the reason why I started painting - it’s almost impossible to get this color on camera without significant alterations so I set down my camera and picked up a paint brush.
